Jobzonen.dk was established on October 4, 1998. The initiator was Berlingske Online, later Metropol Online (owned by the former Berlingske Officin now Berlingske Media, JydskeVestkysten and Århus Stiftstidende). In 2001, Metropol Online and Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten entered into a financial cooperation regarding jobzonen.dk, and in August 2001, Jobzonen was converted into a limited company (A/S). Until 2013 Jobzonen was owned by Berlingske Media, Det Fælles Udgiverselskab (Jyllands-Posten/Politiken) and TV2. 1 July 2013 JP/Politikens Hus A/S bought all shares in Jobzonen A/S.


Market position
Jobzonen is one of Denmark’s biggest online job services. Via the ownership and partnerships with a number of the biggest news media in Denmark, Jobzonen has the best media coverage in Denmark. This means that customers can target advertising among 3.3 million job seekers.
